Having this time off has provided me an excuse to do some writing. Writing that is well outside the technical material and delving into the realm of the macabre imagination with some fiction, which I alluded to in last week’s post.

Maybe it will be just for personal enjoyment, or maybe it will be a novel of just north of 60 chapters and 80 thousand words.

Who knows at this juncture, however it has been fun and helped keep my mind off the job search to the point that I send out resumes, apply for jobs, and then I write and work on the house.

Not much more one can do in modern times regarding the technical job search.

Back to improving my writing and laying tile.
